Back @ York Street

just arrived back in Melbourne after 5 interesting days in NZ. On Friday we played a secret sorta mini show at the Fu Bar in Auckland with Jimmy Christmas’ new band Luger Boa (amongst others) in front of a very packed, pissed and appreciative crowd. Winding up the Record

Beautiful Machine is nearly complete.
Tom flew to London for mixing with Alan Moulder at the helm last month, then Matt Lovell mixed the rest at Sing Sing Studios. Artwork, tracklisting and exact release dates are still being decided on. Should have a single out in January and the album will follow around April. Tom Baker will be mastering the album in the following weeks. Was great to play a show ...

Bassing

After finishing “Beautiful Machine” yesterday we ended up with several technical differculties. So it was a pleasure to come in today and everything worked. Had fun choosing a bass for “Eliza”. My new schecter again won the battle, but used my old schector for the middle 8. Pretty much took one take with a couple of touch ups. Sounding fukin huge with Toms Ultra-beats.
